My chinese friend Sun (also called Mr.K) finished his newest papercraft design, a transformable BMW i8, called K-Man. This paper model imitate bmw i8 convertible with deform inspiration. The 100% hand-made paper model took 1.5 years to finish. The materials come from Coated paper and packet of cigarettes, and the biofidelity is over 96% in car form.
The details are rich and there is a strong sense for technology, it can be deformed from a car to a robot form, of course, it is posable in its robot form. K-man"s name comes from the concept of the man-machine-in-one. Hope you all like this magnificent papercraft design!
It is a completely hand-drawn paper model, so there is NO template. But Mr.K is going to design a series of transformable paper model cars for all papercraft fans. If you have any suggestions, please drop an email to papercraftsquare@gmail.com.
The K-man video will be released in early October, Please pay attention if you like. OK, Let"s enjoy the following pictures of K-man....
Source of inspiration: BMW i8 and Transformers Movie
