Stunfisk is a fish-like creature with a broad, flattened, mud-brown body and a yellow tail that is constantly held above its face. At the base of its tail is a yellow marking shaped like an upside-down exclamation mark. It has small, horizontal, oval-shaped eyes, white with a tiny black pupil and no irises. Almost exactly between these two eyes lies its mouth, which comprises of two thick gray lips. Finally, it has two small, flimsy fins at the sides of its body. These fins have two lobes.
Stunfisk bury themselves in mud of the seashore and wait for prey to pass by. Whenever unsuspecting prey touch a Stunfisk's body, it is zapped. Stunfisk smiles when electrocuting its foes. It buries itself in mud at the seashore.
Stunfisk have electrical powers, which they use to zap their prey. They also have very tough skin that keeps them unharmed if stepped on, even by sumo wrestlers. They are also capable of leaping into the air and flapping their fins like wings to remain airborne. [Source: Bulbapedia]
