New Paper Craft: Fate/Extra - Chibi Caster Free Figure Papercraft Download

Fate/Extra - Chibi Caster Free Figure Papercraft DownloadThis figure papercraft is chibi Caster, the Caster-class Servant available to be chosen by Hakuno Kishinami, along with Saber, Archer, and Gilgamesh, in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War in the game , which is a Japanese dungeon role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable, created by Type-Moon and Image Epoch and published by Marvelous Entertainment. This paper model was created by Seisaku Diary.

Caster is sometimes comic relief, being a goofy, silly, and cheerful young fox girl. She sometimes takes the battle and the situation each week of the game seriously. She falls in love with the protagonist, placing herself in the role of their wife regardless of their gender. She expresses that the most important thing over anything else is love.

Caster's identity is Tamamo-no-Mae, a woman of astonishing beauty that served the retired Emperor Toba the end of the Heian era (794-1185). Known as Misukume as a child, she was said to be the human form of a white-faced, gold-furred nine-tailed fox. She started to serve the court at the age of eighteen, and later became a lady-in-waiting of Toba, under the name Tamamo-no-Mae. She became the favorite of Emperor Toba due to her beautiful face and great knowledge. The exact accounts vary, but her identity as a fox was later exposed by an Onmyouji investigating the cause Toba's illness at the time.

Her infamy grew at the plains of Nasu after fleeing from the court, and an eighty thousand man army was dispatched at the order of the retired emperor to kill her. She defeated the force, but eventually lost to humans during the second battle. Her corpse was said to have become the Killing Stone, which released a problematic cursed poison that killed approaching people and animals until it was shattered by the monk Gennou Shinshou and its fragments dispersed to three places in Japan named Takada. It's said that the remaining fragments that were scattered became the “split-tail foxes” and “spirit dogs” and were used as familiars by practitioners in each region.

Tamamo-no-Mae is a soul created from the sun goddess Amaterasu, and she is a unique facet of the goddess rather than a mere Earth Spirit. She is believed to be a nine-tailed fox spirit with many of the attributes associated with tantric deities known as Dakini, but she is frequently mistaken by many as one of the Inari or even sometimes as a manifestation of Buddha. She cannot be called a human-spawned Heroic Spirit as the facet of a goddess, but she willingly embraces the role in order to "become a good wife." Accepting the limits inherent in the role of a Servant, many of her original powers have been sealed away.

Her original source, Amaterasu, Golden White Face, is the deification of the sun. She still exists despite being distantly ancient, and being a Divine Spirit of her class allows for the time axis to have almost no bearing on her. If someone were to look upon her normally in her mausoleum, they would be burnt to a cinder after seeing a huge sun. Hakuno, encountering her within a dream, sees a large golden-furred, nine-tailed Divine Spirit, and they are able to interact with her. Amaterasu is only the source of Tamamo-no-Mae, so that is not the form she would take on if she were to return to her full power. [Source: wikia]
