This paper model is a Sd.Kfz.232 (8 Rad), a 231 with additional medium range radio sets and a large frame aerial, a variant of the Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (heavy armoured reconnaissance vehicle), which was 6 or 8 wheeled armoured car used during the Second World War, the papercraft is created by SouthPaw.

From 1942, a small Sternantenne (star aerial) replaced the frame aerial, a modification retrofitted to older models. The official name was schwerer Panzerspähwagen (Fu) Sd. Kfz. 232 (8-rad).
