This paper model is a SF-3A Lancer II, a space fighter featured in the anime television series Super Dimension Fortress Macross, which is the first part of two franchises: The Super Dimension series and Macross series, the papercraft is created by Todd Norton.

SF-3A Lancer II Space Fighters were designed using OverTechnology. The SF-3A Lancer II Space Fighters were developed to be carried by ARMD-class Space Carriers. Each SF-3A is loaded with a propulsion system manufactured by the OTEC Company, and they were designed with an overemphasis on initial acceleration that was premised entirely on hit-and-run fly-by combat.

Each SF-3A is furnished with a vernier belt at the base of the two large cannons, and high-maneuverability vernier nozzles in the right and left of the rear section of the fuselage.

The propulsion system can enable an SF-3A to have an acceleration that exceeds 10 G. The ultimate attainable velocity an SF-3A can reach is 7 kilometers per second. [Source: wikia]
