New Paper Craft: Disney: Aladdin - Magic Carpet Papercraft Free Download

This papercraft is Magic Carpet (better known as just Carpet), a carpet from Disney"s 1992 animated feature film Aladdin, the papercraft created by Luis Paraqueimo. Magic Carpet is a good friend of Genie. Aladdin and Abu first find him in the Cave of Wonders while trying to find Genie"s lamp.

Carpet is known for being one of the first computer animated characters in a feature film. His complex design forced the animators to design his pattern in computer animation. He was animated by Randy Cartwright. Randy animated the hands and feet in traditional animation while the rest of him was computer animated.

In the first film, Carpet quickly befriends Aladdin and risks his own life to save him. He happily joins Aladdin on his magical adventure to win the heart of Princess Jasmine. One thing he does not enjoy is how Aladdin would not tell the truth about him truly being a street urchin. Over the course of the series, he has shown to possess an almost-human level of intelligence, such as being scared by some of Genie"s stories, showing gratitude when Jasmine said that she would ride on him while the others took a hot-air balloon, and reminding Aladdin that he had forgotten the anniversary of his and Jasmine"s first date. Also, unlike Genie, he doesn"t take losing seriously and just shakes hands with Genie when he won a game. His personality and relationship with the Genie suggests he was once human, then cursed to be a magic carpet. [Source: wikia]

New Paper Craft: Disney: Aladdin - Genie Head Papercraft Free Download

This papercraft is Genie Head, based on Disney‘s 1992 animated feature film Aladdin, the papercraft created by hyakunin. Genie is a magical genie, and Aladdin’s friend. It’s never revealed whether he has a real name or not. As a genie of the lamp, he must grant three wishes to the holder of the lamp. He is granted with “phenomenal cosmic powers”, but is confined to the “itty-bitty living space” of the lamp. Not much is known of his past, aside from the fact that he was previously owned by a man named Al Gebraic.

Unlike what one would expect from an all-magical genie, Genie of the Lamp has a very happy, fun-loving character and is rarely seen without a big smile on his face. He often likes to crack jokes, in his impersonations or other forms, and does this in serious conversations to help ease any tension.

But, Genie is also very generous; even during his time when he was still a slave to the lamp; he had done what others would say “Gave more than what he took”. For example: when Aladdin gave his first wish to become a prince in order to impress Princess Jasmin, Genie did more than just make him a prince but even gave advice and pointers when Aladdin tries talking to Jasmin at her balcony. Even by the end of the first film, Genie is willing to give up his freedom for Aladdin and Jasmin.

Genie is also very wise when he gives advice or comfort. The times when he is sad is when a friend or someone he comes to trust is hurt/in trouble. [Source: wikia]
