In many ways the MSN-04II Nightingale can be considered as the "big brother" of the MSN-04 Sazabi, and although it is a MS, its specifications are comparable to that of a newtype-used MA. Aside from being larger, this psycoframe equipped MS also featured more weapons, including 10 funnels, a mega beam rifle, a pair of vulcan cannons, a beam cannon, two beam sabers and a shield which carries a beam tomahawk and several micro missiles.
The Nightingale also has a pair of hidden arms mounted behind the front skirt armor, a pair of back-mounted vernier binders to ensure the large suit"s high mobility, and five propellant tanks to fuel its large number of thrusters. This monstrous masterpiece of Mobile Suit technology represented the pinnacle of Char"s personal combat style, and was a perfect match for the also extremely powerful RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam. Karliah gives the blade to the Dragonborn as a reward for completing the Thieves Guild quest Hard Answers. The Nightingale Blade can be upgraded with an ebony ingot with the Arcane Blacksmith perk. However, it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means that the weapon cannot be improved past its original quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted apparel or blacksmith’s potions to Fortify Smithing. [Source: wikia]

The bow is originally owned by Karliah, but it can be obtained during the Thieves Guild questline. Because the bow is leveled, the magnitude of the enchantments, the base strength and value of the bow are contingent upon character level; meaning that with every level the Dragonborn has advanced when the bow is obtained, the bow does more damage, weighs more, and is worth more.
It is a reward given to the Dragonborn by Karliah, after they complete the Thieves Guild quest Blindsighted. The Nightingale bow can be upgraded with an ebony ingot and the Arcane Blacksmith perk, however it does not benefit from any smithing perks. This means that the weapon cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions.
