Shenzhou 11 is a manned spaceflight of the Shenzhou program of China, launched on 17 October 2016 (16 October UTC) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre. It is China"s sixth manned space mission. Two days after launch, it docked with the Tiangong-2 space laboratory.

Tiangong-2 is a Chinese space laboratory and part of the Project 921-2 space station program. Tiangong-2 is neither designed nor planned to be a permanent orbital station; rather, it is intended as a testbed for key technologies that will be used in China"s large modular space station, which is planned for launch in 2023.

New Paper Craft: Classic BattleTech - Naga Free OmniMech Paper Model Download

This mech paper model is Naga, a fire-support successor to the first-generation Woodsman OmniMech, from the game Classic BattleTech, the papercraft is created by Yogsolthan, skins by Sturm. The size of finished model is about 103 (H) x 87 (W) x 47 (D) mm.

Most of what could be pod space for the design is actually taken up by a pair of fixed Arrow IV Artillery Systems. These weapon systems required a lateral extension of the Woodsman"s torsos, giving the Naga a unique appearance. The Naga is also odd in that, despite being a dedicated artillery OmniMech, it is quite quick and poorly armored, perhaps as additional deterrents to pilots who might want to utilize this OmniMech in close quarters. Such combat is left to the Naga"s two sister designs, the Timber Wolf and the Gargoyle.

Following the success of the design at the Battle of Tukayyid, the Naga has spread from Clan Wolf to a handful of other Clans, interested in capitalizing on its utility. This fast assault "Mechmounts a meager nine tons of armor, but tactical doctrine keeps it far from the front lines. The Naga is often derided because it rarely allows for the glory that comes from an individual kill.

By end of 3085, the Naga would ceased being produced in Clan Space. Not a popular design among remaining Clan Space based Clans, its production facilities would repurposed to produced the Septicemia OmniMech. Because the Daboku turned out a design failure suffering from crippling construction flaws, Luthien Armor Works shelved the Daboku and later adopted the FedCom codename Mauler for its redesigned successor in order to avoid the stigma associated with the earlier shameful failure, effectively treating the Mauler as an entirely new, distinct "Mech.

Mir was the first modular space station and was assembled in orbit from 1986 to 1996. It had a greater mass than any previous spacecraft. The station served as a microgravity research laboratory in which crews conducted experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology and spacecraft systems with a goal of developing technologies required for permanent occupation of space. Introduced by Clan Smoke Jaguar in 2999 in preparation for the anticipated return to the Inner Sphere, while the Dragoon Compromise stalled such plans, the Jaguars unleashed the powerful Warhawk on their Warden opponents to deadly effect. Deployed extensively in the Jaguar frontline forces, and often seen paired with the Dire Wolf, the design truly came to prominence as originally intended, on the battlefields of the Jaguars" Invasion Corridor and earned the code name of Masakari - a Japanese battle-axe used on medieval Terra - from warriors within the DCMSwho faced it.

Though it appeared in the Toumans of a number of other Clans, such as the Ghost Bears and Jade Falcons, the Jaguars jealously guarded their production, and all examples of the highly prized "Mech outside of the Jaguars were battlefield salvage until production lines and design specs finally spread to the Fire Mandrills, Diamond Sharks and Goliath Scorpions upon the Smoke Jaguars" Annihilation. Produced exclusively on the Clan Homeworlds, the design was one of many lost to the Inner Sphere Clans after contact with the Homeworlds ceased during the Jihad.

The Warhawk was powered by a massive 340 XL Engine that gave it a top speed of 64.8 km/h and mounted thirteen and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor to protect itself from enemy fire. To dissipate the massive waste heat produced in its various configurations, it carried a staggering twenty double heat sinks. Additionally, though not truly fixed equipment on the chassis, the Warhawk managed to incorporate an advanced Targeting Computer into each of its configurations, making all of its direct fire weapons extremely accurate. [Source: sarna]

New Paper Craft: Classic BattleTech - Hellbringer (Loki) Free Mech Paper Model Download

This mech paper model is Hellbringer (Loki), a very widespread design developed by Clan Hell"s Horses, from the game Classic BattleTech, the papercraft is created by Yogsolthan and Smoking Mirror.

However, due to its poor armor, the Hellbringer is often passed over for more robust OmniMechs. The Inner Sphere first encountered the Hellbringer facing Clan Jade Falcon, which favors the design for its immense offensive potential. Earning the codename Loki by Galen Cox, an AFFC officer who declared each of the Hellbringer"s various versions as an "utterly mad configuration," the "Mech does at first glance appear to be highly unusual, mounting a spread of weapons, anti-personnel equipment and electronics. The Hellbringer utilizes a standard internal structure, and has decent mobility, with a top speed of 86.4 km/h. Though it has vast firepower at its disposal, the design is not particularly durable, mounting a mere eight tons of Standard armor, and the Hellbringer is not particularly suitable for defensive situations or extended engagements.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Tokasha and the loss of Tokasha Mechworks, the Hell"s Horses began developing several OmniMechs. Only the Hellbringer met with success. Development time for the Hellbringer was reduced through the use of moulds used in the Summoner. Despite the poor armor, the Hellbringerdevotes almost 43% of its mass to pods, allowing for great offensive potential. The design spread quickly after its introduction for two reasons: the Horses promptly lost the primary production facility, and used their remaining production to curry favor with other Clans through trade and gifts.

After The Wars of Reaving in Clan Space, the Hellbringer would fall out of favor with the surviving Clans due in part to its association with the Inner Sphere based Clans. Though not taken to the same extreme as other Clan Totem "Mechs, the Kodiak does epitomize the Ghost Bears" method of warfare, combining an impressive defensive platform with surprising amounts of speed and firepower. Its massive 400-rated XL Engine propels the Kodiakto a maximum speed of 64.8 km/h, while seventeen and a half tons of Compound 12A2 gives it impressive armor protection. Though it mounts an incredible amount of firepower, even the use of twenty double heat sinks cannot prevent overheating problems when they are all fired simultaneously, though most MechWarriors learn to use their weapons sparingly and love the "Mech"s ability to deliver a massive knockout punch. The Kodiak incorporates the Garret L20 as its communications system, and uses the RCA Instatrack Mark IX for targeting, however the "claws" mounted on both of its arms are purely aesthetic.

The vast majority of Kodiaks are used by the Ghost Bears, and indeed was exclusive to them in the first years since its introduction. Of those which are found in other toumans, Clan Snow Raven has the largest share, payment for their help in relocating to the Inner Sphere, followed by Clan Goliath Scorpionand Clan Cloud Cobra.
